genedec Decision Engine (GDE)

The genedec Decision Engine controls the entire process to facilitate decision-making. GDE comprises the following functions:

Lupe

Decision Document Library (DDL):
Completed decision processes are archived and are available for searches in various confidentiality levels. Each new decision process is checked for related topics by the archive data and keywords.

Decision Workspace (DWS):
For each decision process, an individual working environment (DWS) is opened. DWS is only accessible to users authorised to participate in this decision process. In this working environment, the team stores all information relevant to this decision. Documents are stored in analogy to a document archive system.

Decision Communication Forum (DCF):
For each decision process, an individual communication forum (DCF) is opened. The forum is only accessible to users authorised to participate in this decision process. The forum posts are saved along with the decision process. In addition to text forums, audio and video communication are also possible, which enables worldwide use round the clock.

Decision Workflow (DW):
The years of practical experience on which the development of genedecSuite is based are depicted in the process control. All users participating in a decision are assigned a certain role. During the course of a decision process, the software automatically assigns tasks to the team members in accordance with their role. Special roles exist for quality assurance and standards monitoring - checking that the results are in line with corporate strategy, legal, business management and ethical standards. Top management always has an observer role and can use marker functions to monitor a large number of decisions in an efficient and user-friendly manner.
